Cass Anawaty, multi-instrumentalist and bassist for the award-winning group 2002, and Sherry Finzer, award-winning multi-flutist and member of Fiona Joy’s Blue Dream Ensemble, first met while performing at the Zone Music Reporter Awards Show in May 2013. After Cass and his family moved from the Portland area to Scottsdale, AZ in May 2015, Cass and Sherry joined forces to create the magnificent and magical soundscapes of Majestica, consisting of a wide pallet of musical shades. The album combines ambient tracks – View from the Summit, In Bloom, and Aurora Australis, with downtempo but beat driven songs In the Midst of Stars, Carousel, Close of Day, Lone Mountain and How Does it Feel. The follow up to In the Midst of Stars releases spring of 2018.
