PAM ASBERRY earned her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. A busy adjudicator, writer and speaker, she has been teaching privately since 1979 and currently resides in Dacula, Georgia. She performs with the Redeemer Piano Ensemble (four pianos, 16 hands) under the direction of Mary Brown Hinely, the Gwinnett Symphony Wind Orchestra, and the Asberry Helfen Piano Duo. A BMI artist, she released her first album of original solo piano music, Seashells in My Pocket, in October 2017 and is a member of the National Association of Composers USA.
Solo pianist and composer Pam Asberry combines contemporary, new age and classical sounds to create music that is alternately melodic and graceful, dramatic and powerful, peaceful and hypnotic.
